Steve Morison has hailed Rubin Colwill's stunning winner against QPR as an "unbelievable moment", but urged everyone not to get carried away with the Cardiff City youngster's talent.
It was a typical Colwill performance in many ways. He showed lots of class and poise on the ball, but also produced frustration-inducing moments throughout the contest.
Having become such a crucial player for the Bluebirds at the start of the season, Morison was afforded the opportunity to take him out of the firing line for a bit following the acquisition of Tommy Doyle in the January transfer window.
There is no doubting the Wales international's ability and even his potential, although the creative onus which was placed on him earlier in the campaign was arguably unjust.
But he sent a reminder of just what he could do when, on the 75-minute mark, he rifled home a tremendous free-kick from 20 yards out to earn the Bluebirds three points on the road.
While Morison was suitably impressed with the strike, he urged calm when it came to heaping too much on the 19-year-old's shoulders.
"It's an unbelievable free-kick," Morison said after the win over QPR. "He was fantastic in the game.
"He needs to keep his feet on the floor and you lot [the press] need to keep your feet on the floor.
"He scored a really good goal. He also had three shots before that which all went into the second tier of the stand. I'd much rather him hit the target three times, not score the free-kick and score those chances.
"Let's make sure we all relax. It was an unbelievable moment and it wins us the game tonight. Him and everyone else is really pleased.
"It was a real team effort."

Colwill only had the chance to score that winner due to his contemporary, Isaak Davies, not only having scored the equaliser, but having earned the free-kick to offer his team-mate the chance to shoot on goal.
Davies, who signed a new contract with the club earlier this week until 2024, was fantastic from the bench. It was about as good a substitute performance as you're likely to see.
"I thought the guy should have been sent off," Morison said of Davies winning the free-kick.
"Isaak's past him, that's why he's fouled him, and he is in the centre of the goal.
"It's a professional foul and he knows exactly what he's doing. But we got our justice after it, [Colwill] put the ball in the back of the net.
"He's learning and evolving all the time. He is a great lad to have around, the lads buzz off him.
"He is a typical kid. He's a lovely kid, there's not a bad bone in his body."
It was a win which was made in CF11. While it was a really positive team display, academy products Isaak Davies and Rubin Colwill provided the telling moments.
With 1,500 Bluebirds fans belting out songs throughout the afternoon, there was a real feel of a culture and atmosphere which had been cultivated over the last few months.
And Morison said that is exactly the sort of feeling he has been striving for, all as one and pulling in the same direction.
"I think I've created one since I've come in," Morison said of the culture of togetherness between fans and players.
"It's part of what I wanted to do. We work together as one.
"Fifteen-hundred people travelling all the way to London to support the team that is apparently safe and who are going to cruise until the end of the season is amazing.
"I said we'd use a core group of the academy players and we are doing that as well. It was an excellent day all around."
