Ah, the ol’ hot mic on an umpire that’s picked up some expletives.
Actually, I guess it’s not that “old” but we’ve seen it pick up some cursing in recent years, and this time it was umpire Adrian Johnson who was the culprit.
The whole thing was hilarious and took place in Tuesday’s San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants game: There was a challenge on a double play from the Padres that was reviewed, and Johnson got on the mic to inform everyone of the decision.
Then? He began to tell everyone, but maybe thought his mic was off, and that’s when he said, “Oh [expletive]!” The face he made was priceless as he realized it was, in fact, on:
