This awards season, Paul Mescal has captured hearts everywhere. From his portrayal as a loving father in the coming-of-age film Aftersun to speaking fluent Irish on the BAFTAs red carpet, the 27-year-old actor has turned heads once again at the 2023 Academy Awards – where he is nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
And throughout it all, Paul Mescal’s supportive family has been by his side — even as his mother battles cancer. In fact, Mescal’s mother, Dearbhla, was seen sitting next to her son at this year’s Oscars ceremony.
