An Post are warning customers to be extra vigilant of postal scams that encourage people to pay customs charges.
They are warning the public to not click on links in texts or emails that claim there is a customs charge due. An Post have said that they no longer include such links in their correspondence.
The warning comes on the launch of Black Friday sales in not only Ireland but worldwide. They are also reminding the public that the last postage date for packages and letters ahead of Christmas is looming.
