US Representative Ilhan Omar has condemned a federal search of her Washington, D.C., home, accusing the Trump administration of using law enforcement to intimidate political opponents.
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents carried out the search on 12 October under a judicially authorised warrant secured by the Department of Justice. The department confirmed that the operation was part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation but did not publicly disclose further details.
