Two Gardai in Naas have helped deliver a baby on the side of the M7.
The two gardai, who were on overnight duty at the time, were alerted to the incident by the Command and Control Centre after a call for help came in from a couple travelling from Carlow to Dublin along the M7.
Thankfully Garda Richard Oxley and Garda Sean Smyth were on hand to help and the pair located the couple and “kicked straight into action”, providing urgent medical assistance to help keep the mother and baby safe.
