A defense attorney in the Young Slime Life gang case was arrested Thursday morning when he tried to enter the courtroom with some of his prescription medication, his colleagues said.
Anastasios Manettas, who represents Miles Farley, was handcuffed and brought into a back room of the courtroom following a security search of the attorney’s bag about 10 a.m., according to several lawyers who witnessed the incident.
He is charged with simple battery on a law enforcement officer, possession of pills not in their original container, obstruction and disrupting court proceedings, authorities said.
