Amy MacDonald left in stitches after husband Richard Foster's embarrassing pizza blunder

Amy MacDonald was left in fits of laughter following her husband Richard Foster's accidental pizza blunder.

The This Is The Life hitmaker took to social media to share her confusion after a large delivery of pizza turned up at her house. Amy, 35, told fans she was left stunned believing someone was playing a prank on her before her husband called to explain he had ordered his family's dinner to the wrong address.

The Scots footballer, who has played for both Rangers and Aberdeen, is visiting his family in Elgin while Amy stayed in their lavish pad in Glasgow. During his visit up north, the footballer treated his family to a takeaway before realising in his error that he forgot to change the address - leaving Amy hours away with everyone's dinner.

Posting on her Instagram story, she said: "My door just went, right, and it was pizza getting delivered - like loads of pizza."

Holding back laughter, she continued: "And I was like, 'I didn't order any pizza?' And the guy was like 'Are you sure? Like definitely? It's this address'.

"I was like 'I didn't order any pizza.' And then I was just like, flipping hell. So then I was sitting thinking, 'God, somebody's trying to play a prank on me'.

"But then I realised that you have to pay for the pizza. So I was like somebody's like spent all that money getting pizza sent to my house, and I was like, 'how weird'.

"And then I just got a phone call from Foz, who is up in his homeland, up in the north east. And he ordered pizza for his family and didn't change the delivery address," she added.

Amy couldn't hold back her laughter telling fans: "What a f****** idiot!"

This comes after the Scots singer shared her delight with fans as a fake Tinder profile used her photos to catfish others and set her age at 23. She shared the fraudulent profile which goes by the name of 'Mercedes' using selfies of the star, while the bio stated: "Mercedes, 23. Recently single, bonus points if you have a dog, need a clubbing partner."

Seeing the funny side to the fake account, she wrote on Twitter: "Ok - my first thought about the person using my photo on tinder is actually endless gratitude that they think I can happily pass for 23."
