Amy Macdonald is seeing Life in a Beautiful Light after her husband Richard Foster surprised her with a Valentine’s treat at the weekend.
The Partick Thistle footballer treated her to a stay at the luxury Cameron House hotel on the shores of Loch Lomond at the weekend.
The pair, who wed in Las Vegas in 2018, seemed loved up as they hung out together on the short staycation break.
Amy, 34, who remains one of Scotland’s most successful pop stars thanks to hits albums such as This Is The Life and The Human Demands posted an image of their time at the hotel on Instagram.
She told her followers: “Weekend fun! The ball & chain done good!!” as the pair headed to the hotel’s restaurant for a slap up meal.
Foster, who previously played for Aberdeen, Rangers, Ross County and St Johnstone before joining the Championship side, also showed his humorous side posting his own pic of Amy sipping wine.
He accompanied the image with a message which read: “Champagne slabber cabbage incoming #winning.”
