Amy Hart has shared her plans to give herself 18 months to lose weight after giving birth in order to walk down the aisle.
Love Island star Amy, 30, is yet to announce her engagement to beau Sam Rason but has met with wedding planners. And, the pair recently revealed they are expecting their first child together.
Amy and Sam appeared on Loose Women to share the news on Monday August 29 and later shared snaps of themselves posing with an ultrasound scan to share more on the Instagram pages.
Following their exciting news Amy, who previously froze her eggs over fertility fears, has discussed how she feels about her pregnancy.
Speaking to new! magazine the Love Island star revealed she's slightly concerned about her body changing after the birth of her tot.
When asked about how she feels about her body changing, Amy said: “I’m more scared about afterwards. Friends have said it takes a year for your bones to go back and they couldn’t run for a year because they’d had a prolapse, so I’m slightly worried about that.
“Once I’ve had the baby I’ve got 18 months before the wedding to get really thin again. I’m going to try to do Love Island-thin but I don’t know if I can.
“I do worry about postnatal depression too, as I have suffered from anxiety before. But I’ve had therapy and I’ve got really good coping mechanisms, and I can’ recognise where I need help. So as much as I’m way of it, I know that I would notice the signs, hopefully.”
It comes after Amy shared plans to wed Sam next year in June, but it appears those plans have been pushed back due to her pregnancy.
The blonde beauty revealed she had her sights set on a 2023 wedding. Speaking to OK!, Amy said: “I’d love to get married first, just because I think then you can be truly selfish with your wedding if you get married first.
“Once you have children, all your priorities change. I'd love to get married next year.”
Discussing the idea of children or marriage first, Amy added: “We'll need to make a decision at some point about what we're going do first, but we'd like at least two.
“That doesn't leave us a long time and it will have to be back to back.”
But, Amy and Sam's mind were soon made up for them as she conceived naturally with her beau, despite freezing her eggs and plans to undergo IVF.
“It was just such a shock, it was so unplanned, it just happened - disbelief really,” her boyfriend Sam revealed on Loose Women last month.
And when asked whether she will still use her frozen eggs, she said: “No. I might need them in the future. It was never about not being able to get pregnant, it was more about the longevity of my egg reserve… If I don’t need them, then I’ll donate them.”
