Amy Adams has recounted the heroic moment she saved a stabbing victim’s life using basic medical knowledge she gleaned from working on the 2004 medical drama Dr. Vegas.
Appearing on the latest episode of the Smartless podcast, Adams, 51, who starred as in-house nurse Alice Doherty on the short-lived CBS drama, recalled she and her family had just finished eating at their “favorite” Santa Monica restaurant when they happened upon a man who had been stabbed in the neck.
