Amid rise in anti-Semitism, deadly shooting still haunts Pittsburgh's Jewish community

The current conflict between Israel and Hamas is polarising public opinion and stoking fears of a further rise in both Islamophobic and anti-Semitic hate crimes. As home to the largest Jewish community outside of Israel, the US is not spared. Five years ago, on October 27, 2018, the city of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania became the scene of the country's worst ever anti-Semitic attack. As worshippers gathered for Shabbat, a man opened fire inside the Tree of Life synagogue, killing 11 people. How has life for Pittsburgh's Jewish community changed in the past five years? How are they reacting to the rise in anti-Semitism? FRANCE 24's Fanny Allard reports, with Wassim Cornet.
