Blood is spraying up the walls of the Almeida theatre every night where good old Patrick Bateman has returned to London in American Psycho The Musical.
A revival of the 2013 show, directed again by Almedia Artistic Director Rupert Goold – his sign-off before he heads off to the Old Vic - it stars Arty Froushan taking over serial killing duties from Matt Smith first time around. It is a thrilling, hilarious and disturbing production – and really, you have to see it – with witty/wrong/wild original songs and routines, a pulsating version of Bret Easton Ellis’ infamous 1991 novel set at the height of Wall Street excess.
