An American BBQ restaurant has announced plans to open a second venue in Swansea city centre.
Cattle & Co. will take up the site of the former Three Lamps bar on Castle Square,, creating 40 jobs.
The original Cattle & Co. opened in Clydach, Swansea before moving to Llanelli in 2021, taking over an iconic Grade II listed building and the site of the former Sospan restaurant.

With over 4,000 table bookings, the success of the Llanelli branch is attributed to Cattle & Co's unique take on beautifully smoked, tender brisket and twists on comfort classics such as Mac 'n' Cheese.
The venue has boasted a roaring success post-lockdown which has enabled them to expand into a new Castle Gardens location, complete with a dry ageing room which will enhance the flavour and tenderness of their steaks.
The Swansea branch will take residence on Castle Street, replacing the multi-floor venue; Three Lamps, opening in mid-May 2022.
Co-owner Rebecca Mace said: "We are so thrilled to be back in Swansea, especially in such a beautiful venue. We’re also incredibly proud to be bringing over 40 new jobs to the area and are currently recruiting new team members for both front of house and kitchen.”
She added: “Having the space to really expand what we’re able to offer is what we’re most excited about. Aside from the restaurant across the bottom two floors, the new location will also include an American- style sports bar on the middle floor which will be available for private hire, as well as a more exclusive, luxury cocktail bar on the top floor with a planned expansion for a VIP room.”
New roles will be available alongside booking information from their website.
