American Strike Kills Senior Member of Iran Proxy Group in Iraq
In a recent development, a senior member of the Qateb Hezbollah group, an Iran proxy group, was killed in a targeted strike in eastern Baghdad. Two senior U.S. defense officials have confirmed that the strike was conducted by a U.S. drone using a Hellfire missile. The targeted individual was traveling in an SUV at the time of the attack, and there were reportedly several other passengers in the vehicle, believed to be members of Qateb Hezbollah.
