In a viral social media video, he compared his experiences of receiving medical treatment in the two countries, claiming that the cost of healthcare in America has made it difficult for him to consider settling there. The man said healthcare was the biggest reason behind his decision to leave the US. Recounting two medical emergencies, he described how his experiences in India and America differed in terms of treatment, access to doctors and the final bill. “I'm moving back to India from America because of one word, healthcare,” he said at the beginning of the video.
