A missing teenage girl’s body was found concealed by branches, a murder trial heard yesterday.

Amber Gibson was discovered by a police officer near a burn at a park in Hamilton, her naked body covered from branches allegedly cut from a heavy tree. Jurors were told a bag containing her clothing was also spotted nearby on a bush.

Amber’s brother Connor Gibson, 20, is on trial at the High Court in Glasgow charged with the sexual assault and murder of Amber at Cadzow Glen on Friday, November 26, 2021.
