AMBALA: Strikes were observed in the Ambala region in Haryana in support of the central trade unions, as the employees and officials of banks, post offices and roadways kept the work suspended for the day in protest against the "anti-people policies" of the Central government.
In Ambala, all the bank employees and officials protested outside the Punjab and Sind Bank and raised slogans against the Central government under the leadership of JS Oberoi, general secretary of the Haryana state committee of All India Bank Officers Association.
