Amazon Prime membership fee could rise to over £90 despite record sales

Amazon Prime membership fees could rise to more than £90 per year, despite record UK sales for the online retail giant.

The company recently reported sales of £23.6 billion in the UK, but may still increase the annual fee from the current rate of £79 according to delivery expert ParcelHero.

Head of Consumer Research at ParcelHero David Jinks M.I.L.T. said: "Amazon had a bumper year in the UK, with sales jumping from £19.6bn in 2020 to £23.6bn in 2021.
