Amazon Prime users have been issued with a warning by Martin Lewis and comes as the online shopping and video steaming service is set to hike it's prices.
The increase will take place in September of this year with monthly costs set to increase by £1 - an increase of 12.5 per cent.
However the cost for annual members will see a slightly sharper rise increasing by £16 marking the first price increase since 2014.

The hike has not been welcomed by its current members with many taking to social media to complain. The rise clashes with the cost of living crisis which has already seen essentials - such as food and energy bills - soar in recent months.
However while many people have had to increase their costs due to inflation, Amazon are among those affected stating they too are increasing their subscription cost due to this as well as operation costs.
In the video explaining all the changes the money saving expert said: "Amazon Prime is hiking its membership costs. On September 15, the monthly subscription in the UK will go up from £7.99 to £8.99.
"The annual cost will rise from £79 to £95. So if you currently pay monthly and you want to keep it, then the best thing you can do - provided you can afford it - is convert now to the annual package and then you lock in at £79 for the next year for stalling the rise.

"If you are an annual payer, it's more difficult. Though if your subscription is due to renew in the few weeks after September 15, you could cancel just before that and then get a new subscription at £79 - again for stalling that rise just for a little bit."
A spokesperson for Amazon said: "With increased inflation and operating costs in the UK continuing to rise, we will change the price of Prime."
