Fancy coffee machines can often end up being pricey, which is why it might be best to bag yourself a bargain this Amazon Prime Day.
Amazon Prime Day officially starts tomorrow (July 11) and it will run for 48 hours until July 12. The online retailer has already slashed the price of a popular Nespresso coffee machine on the lead up to the event, which has over 2k global ratings.
The Nespresso Vertuo Plus is down from £219 to £79.99, giving shoppers a whopping 64% off. It has an average star rating of 4.5 out of 5 from shoppers on the Amazon website and is available in black and white.

As seen in the product description, the Vertuo coffee machine creates up to four coffee cup sizes including a 40ml espresso, an 80ml double espresso, a 150ml gran lungo and a 250ml large mug. It heats up in 40 seconds and features electrical opening and closing, a moveable water tank and an automatic coffee pod ejection.
The coffee machine also switches off to help save energy, and is made with 80% recycled material. For an extra frothy coffee, use the Nespresso Aeroccino Milk Frother (sold separately) to create either a cappuccino, latte, flat white or iced recipes - you can get one here for £69.40.

The pods on Amazon seem overpriced and there's less selection. I even ordered pods that I thought worked with the machine, but they're the wrong size. On the Nespresso website, there is an awesome selection of pods and flavours. And they actually delivered quickly, within two days. The only small complaint I have is the coffee doesn't always come out hot enough, especially after adding milk. I don't think the water comes to a complete boil. Sometimes I pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Other times the temperature seems fine, like able to drink immediately but not necessarily as hot as it would be if you boiled water. Anyways, really happy with this purchase and the ease of use. I definitely recommend."
