Following the success of 'Take Me Home', Amazon Prime have announced another documentary series involving Leeds United. The series 'Take Me Home' documented the Whites' rise from the Championship to the Premier League, and crews returned to Elland Road to record and produce another series.
This series, called 'The Academy' takes a look the Whites' most talented youngsters. It documents the development of some of the young players breaking into the first-team, including Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville - who all featured in the opening day win over Wolves at Elland Road.
The programme is not yet available on Amazon Prime. although a post on their Instagram page has suggested that it will be released during August.

The 'Take Me Home' Leeds documentary consisted of eight episodes across two seasons. The first series focused on the 2018/19 season, where Leeds lost to Derby County in the Championship play-offs in agonising fashion, while the second season followed Leeds' Covid-hit title-winning campaign. The series has a five star rating on Amazon, and has a score of eight out of 10 from IMDb.
Leeds aren't the only club to have a documentary series released on them this month. Last week, Amazon Prime released the latest in their 'All or Nothing' series. Previous series have followed Manchester City and Tottenham, but this one brings a behind-the-scenes look at Arsenal's 2021/22 campaign.
