Amazon offering £100 off Fire TVs in early Prime Day sale with prices from £150

Amazon has reduced the price of some of its bestselling Fire TVs, meaning shoppers can get 40% off the cheapest model for a limited time only.

The retail giant launched its new range of smart TVs back in March, introduced to rival the likes of Sky Glass and Samsung. While the priciest 65-inch Omni 4K Fire TV will set you back a penny shy of £1,000, you can now get a smaller version for under £150 if you snap it up before the Prime Day discount ends.

The cheapest FireTV model - the 32-inch 2-Series 720p HD Smart TV - would usually set you back £249.99 when bought at full price, but in the early Prime Day sale it has been reduced to £149.99, saving shoppers £100. Or those who want to go bigger can snap up the 40-inch version of the 2-Series Fire TV for £199.99 in the deal, reduced from £299.99.

The Fire TV 2-Series is the most affordable option for Amazon shoppers when it comes to the retailer's smart TV range, with both the 32-inch and 40-inch options coming equipped with instant access to streaming platforms such as Prime Video, Netflix and Disney+ for subscribers, as well as free apps such as YouTube and live TV channels. You can also use the Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote to find your favourite shows and control your smart home devices.

For shoppers looking for a more budget-friendly option, Amazon is also offering the latest version of its Fire TV Stick 4K at a cheaper price, now £49.99 instead of £59.99 in an early Prime Day deal. The stick allows you to access all the major streaming platforms from your current TV, without having to splash out on a new one - all you'll need is a TV with an HDMI port and an internet connection.

Another early-bird Prime Day deal offers Amazon shoppers money off the latest Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, which is currently available for nearly half price for those with a Prime subscription - meaning you can get your hands on one for £104.99 instead of £199.99. A subscription to Prime costs £8.99 a month, but there are free trials available for new customers to gain access to the best Prime Day deals - you can sign up here.
