As day two of Amazon's Prime day sale gets well and truly underway, tech devices seem to be making the top of shoppers list this sale event including the popular Ring Doorbell.
At this time of the year shoppers are normally waiting in anticipation for the annual Black Friday sales, Amazon has changed the game by introducing early deals across its site. Home devices and the latest phone handsets have been popular over the last day in the sale as it seems shoppers are eager to buy tech goods for a fraction of the price.
And whilst Amazon's own security tech gadget soars in popularity, Ring Doorbell for £59.99, there's one other device on offer that shoppers should consider, as its features are hard to come by especially at the reduced price.

The Google Nest Doorbell is now on offer on Prime Day for just £124.99, and while this may sound an extortionate price compared to the Ring, it's the cheapest price the product has been all year.

Using the comparison site CamelCamelCamel, this is the cheapest price that Amazon has ever offered for the Google device where it's previously been priced at £179.99. We've done a little digging to see how it compares to Amazon's Ring Doorbell and why spending the extra money may be worth it.
Apart from the obvious £65 price difference between the two products, which may influence shoppers on their choice, there are some key differences with each product and are worth noting if you're looking to upgrade your front door with one of these.
Both products are aimed at households looking for that little extra piece of home security, with simple DIY fittings, home integration that connects to devices and no contracts, but there's one important quality that sets the Nest up in standard compared to the Ring.
And that's all down to its video quality, including industry leading facial recognition and video alert features, it's likely that the majority of shoppers will feel a bit more protected with this feature.
One happy shopper gave this review on Amazon: "'It was easy to install and set up, and the clarity of the camera is first rate, with the option of bypassing the doorbell to simply view outside at any time.
"The additional night vision is amazing, giving you crystal clear black and white vision, and the versatility of the various motion sensors gives peace of mind. GREAT BUY."
Another said: "Best one I've had so far, easy to set up get a good clear picture with no lag." Somebody else added: "Perfect size looks great. It’s angled to view the visitor at the door and beyond. Love that it comes up on my Apple Watch so that I’m immediately alerted."
A fourth happy customer wrote: "I bought this as part of some security measures after having some attempted thefts of a motorbike. So I now have this looking over the bike in the front yard. The whole experience from receiving it, installing it and now running it has been amazing. It was incredibly well packaged to begin with, a bit like an Apple product, with very simple and easy to follow instructions. I am generally hopeless at DIY yet managed to get this installed fairly easily. Being mains powered rather than via a battery means you never miss anything as the camera records everything rather than waiting to be triggered. Setting a zone was easy so you only get notifications if someone steps into the zone. The night vision is also very good which is v important. Having seen plenty of YouTube reviews of other makes I was very pleased to find this lived up to the hype. I think the annual subscription is very reasonable for 5 days worth of recording and the whole set up is great value. For the peace of mind it is genuinely worthwhile. Highly recommended."
As well as this, the Google Nest's added price tag is also down to it's 24/7 video recording feature, which takes the product from an at home security system into one of professional surveillance standards.
The offer on the Google Nest Doorbell ends today at 11:59, shoppers must be quick to buy.
