Amazon drops price of Ring security doorbells in Prime Day early access sale

Amazon has launched a host of deals as part of their early access sale for this year's second Prime Day event.

As part of the early access event a new offer has launched with Ring video doorbells. Shoppers looking to get a new Ring security doorbell can take advantage of the £30 saving with Amazon today (October 10). The early access deal has reduced the Ring video doorbell to £59.99, instead of £89.99.

It comes a day before Amazon hosts its second Prime Day event of 2022, where Prime Members can get discounts on thousands of products from beauty, fashion, tech, gaming and more. Taking place for 48 hours on October 11, the Prime Day event is open to Prime Members only but shoppers who aren't a member can sign up for a free 30-day trial here.

Early Access deals are taking place today ahead of the Prime Day launch on Tuesday and Ring is just one of the retailers taking part. Their video doorbell deal, which can be purchased here, is for a limited-time only so shoppers will need to hurry if they are thinking of buying one.

The Ring Wireless Video Doorbell comes with 1080p HD video, crisper Night Vision and features that let you see, hear, and speak to anyone from your phone or tablet. The Two-Way Talk lets you answer the door from wherever you are, or if you're busy you can save time and use quick replies to respond with a pre-selected message.

Users can also receive instant notifications when anyone presses the doorbell or when motion is detected. Powered by the built-in rechargeable battery, the Ring device can also connect to your existing doorbell wires for constant power.

Shoppers can also pair it with select Alexa-enabled devices and enable announcements to be notified when the doorbell is pressed or motion is detected. Standard features such as instant notifications, live view and two-way talk are available out of the box and for free on all Ring devices.
