Retail giant Amazon has announced a u turn on plans to stop customers using visa.
The online shopping firm had told people it would no longer accept visa from January 19 citing the financial firms fees.
However customers have on Monday been sent an email telling them the change will no longer go ahead.
Headed 'Update on Visa credit card acceptance' to says: "The expected change regarding the use of Visa credit cards on Amazon.co.uk will no longer take place on January 19.
"We are working closely with Visa on a potential solution that will enable customers to continue using their Visa credit cards on Amazon.co.uk.
"Should we make any changes related to Visa credit cards, we will give you advance notice. Until then, you can continue to use Visa credit cards, debit cards, Mastercard, American Express, and Eurocard as you do today.
"Thank you for being an Amazon customer."
Amazon announced plans to stop the use of Visa last year and offered shoppers incentives to change their main card on the site.
People were given credits of up to £20 to go ahead with the swap in plenty of time ahead of the January deadline.
