Amanda Holden's husband Chris Hughes has stepped down as the director of the talent agency which represents her and ITV colleague Simon Cowell.

It's the same agency which sensationally dropped Phillip Schofield last month.

YMU sacked the former 61-year-old This Morning presenter Phil following the bombshell announcement he was having an affair with a younger male colleague and had lied about it to his bosses, co-stars and friends.
