Britain’s Got Talent panel member Amanda Holden has claimed Phillip Schofield brutally snubbed her attempt to make up after the pair fell out. According to reports Phil vetoed her getting a role full time, instead preferring Rochelle Humes. Now on her Heart Breakfast show Amanda said she extended an olive branch by asking to meet him for a coffee – and then revealed he “didn’t reply” – in 2019.
Phillip Schofield dramatically quit from This Morning last weekend after reports of a rift with co-host Holly. Amanda also took the time to back Dermot O’Leary to replace him. Alison Hammond and O’Leary, who celebrated his 50th birthday on Wednesday, stepped in to present This Morning on Monday and Tuesday, while Craig Doyle took the helm with Hammond on Wednesday.
