Amanda Bynes has reunited with her fiancé Paul Michael, hours after accusing him of using drugs, watching disturbing pornography and vandalising his mum’s home.
The pair are seen kissing in pictures taken on Thursday (April 28) after a ‘verbal dispute’ which saw the police called to their home at 2.30am, according to TMZ .
Following the dispute, the actress, 36, took to her Instagram stories to publicly claim Paul had “stopped taking his medications,” adding she was “afraid of what he’ll do.”
She claimed Paul broke his mum’s pictures and “put salmon under her bed.” She said she allegedly “found Paul’s stash of crack cocaine.”
After the allegations, Paul reportedly went to his Instagram and said he didn’t know “what the f*** she’s talking about.”
Later that day, Amanda, who was recently released from a conservatorship , retracted the claims and issued an apology.
She told E! News : “I thought Paul relapsed, but I was wrong. He drug tested for me from a drug test kit I bought from CVS. The drug test was negative for all substances.”
She also apologised to her fans and confirmed she is still with Paul. She said: “Paul and I are staying together. I am so sorry for the confusion I caused.”
Amanda’s lawyer David Esquibias gave People a statement on Thursday, saying: “Amanda and Paul had an argument Wednesday evening. Amanda left her home, where Paul has been residing, for her safety before the situation escalated. She was not there when police arrived.
“Amanda is now back home and denies Paul's claims of taking his medication. She remains focused on her well-being.”
The pair look as loved-up as ever in new pictures as they showcased a PDA on their outing hours after the dispute.
The Hairspray actress wore a grey T-shirt, blue jeans and a white beanie, as she cuddled up to Paul who sported grey joggers and a denim shirt over a hoodie.
It comes a month after the actress had her nine-year conservatorship terminated. The guardianship - similar to that of Britney Spears - was put in place following what she had previously described as a ‘dark period’ in her life.
In a statement to People, the actress said: "In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritise my well-being in this next chapter.
"I am excited about my upcoming endeavours — including my fragrance line — and look forward to sharing more when I can."
