Amad Diallo is flying in the English Championship with Sunderland after his post-Rangers career was at a crossroads.
The young Ivorian has netted four goals and a assist in his last five games under former Celtic boss Tony Mowbray and seems to be a fan favourite of the Black Cats. So much so that the crowd created their own song about the Manchester United loanee, but one that he has urged the fans to change.
Diallo is currently on loan from Old Trafford after being told in the summer he was not part of Erik Ten Hag's initial plans, and made the move to the North East in the summer after a loan spell fraught with missed opportunities ended at Ibrox this year. Giovanni Van Bronckhorst was impressed with the winger during his time in Glasgow but couldn't find a consistent spot in the Rangers team despite netting inside five minutes of his debut against Ross County.

Now, in a video posted to Sunderland's Twitter account, Diallo said: "Sunderland fans, I've had an amazing time so far and I love your energy. And hearing you sing my name is incredible, but we need to be respectful. Let's change the song, keep the noise, and move forwards together. Ha'way the lads."
The original chant includes 'racial stereotyping' that the youngster wants to see changed as he continues his development at the Stadium of Light.
