Amad Diallo has shown up Cristiano Ronaldo upon his return to Manchester United following a loan spell in Scotland with Rangers.
The winger had a stint at Ibrox last season but has been with the Red Devils throughout pre-season. He replaced Portuguese legend Ronaldo at half-time against Rayo Vallecano and netted inside three minutes as Manchester United drew 1-1 with La Liga opposition in friendly competition. Their Premier League campaign begins at home to Brighton next week and Diallo will be desperate to play his part.
United boss Erik Ten Hag said: "I know there is still room for improvement. We have to improve and that is also a process that continues during the season. But, for next week, it's about the result as well. It was a mixture between experience and youth. Some guys, they need to see, for the first time, what you can expect. You saw the attitude was really great, really the intention to co-operate."
