Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick feels Amad Diallo 's loan to Rangers is already reaping rewards, and is looking forward to welcoming the winger back.
The 19-year-old left Serie A over-achievers Atalanta in January last year, joining the Red Devils for a fee which could rise to £34million in the future.
Diallo has played and scored for the English Premier League giants but struggled to nail down a place in the first team.
That saw United loan him out in January, and Diallo bagged a goal on his debut against Ross County.
The Ivorian had a more difficult time of it in his second appearance against Celtic, as he was hooked at half-time with Rangers 3-0 down.
But Rangnick is confident that playing regularly will help Diallo and assured he still has a big future at Old Trafford.
The interim United boss explained: "The group was slightly too big, we had too many players not seeing the chance to get regular playing time.
“Donny, Anthony, and Amad deserve regular game time and I wish them all the best.
“Amad has already played and scored in his first game and I'm pretty sure Donny and Anthony will do well at Sevilla and Everton and I hope they come back.”
