A new Amad Diallo contract is in the offering after the youngster’s impressive form for Manchester United this season.
Diallo wrote himself into Red Devils folklore on Sunday after his brilliant goal sealed a smash-and-grab victory over rivals Manchester City.
Ruben Amorim’s side were trailing until the 88th minute before a Bruno Fernandes penalty and Diallo’s instinctive finish secured a famous 2-1 win.
The 22-year-old is viewed as one of the most important players at Old Trafford. INEOS are keen to keep him in the red half of Manchester for many years to come.
🚨 Manchester United are in advanced negotiations to renew the contract of Amad Diallo.

New Amad Diallo Contract
Since breaking into the side under Erik ten Hag in 2023, Amad Diallo has been one of Manchester United‘s finest players.
His progress last season was sure but steady. Since Ruben Amorim has come in, Diallo has been a revelation. The 22-year-old’s pace, trickery, work rate and versatility makes him an invaluable member of Amorim’s side.
The Portuguese gaffer was quick to heap praise on the Ivory Coast international after the brilliant derby day win on Sunday afternoon.
Diallo’s starring role coincided perfectly with the winger on the cusp of being offered a new contract. His current deal is due to expire in the summer.
However, the club and Diallo’s representatives are undertaking smooth negotiations. There has been no indication that the star won’t be putting pen to paper on new and improved terms.
The news will come as a huge relief to supporters. Especially with fellow young starlet Kobbie Mainoo rumoured to be offered extended terms as well.
Diallo signed for United from Atalanta in 2021 when he was just 19-years-old. After progressing through the ranks, a loan spell followed with Rangers in 2022.
However, it was a fine loan spell with Sunderland that really saw Diallo make a name for himself. He netted 14 times in 42 appearances for the Black Cats in 2022/23.
Diallo and the Red Devils are back in action on Thursday night as they take on Tottenham in the EFL Cup quarter-final. Ahead of the match, the best football betting sites in the UK have all the latest markets, odds and price boosts.
