Saifai: The mortal remains of Samajwadi patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav were consigned to flames at Saifai Mahotsav Ground on Tuesday with full state honours.
His son Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav lit the pyre.

Mulayam Singh’s elder brother Abhay Ram Yadav, Ram Gopal Yadav and other family members were present at Saifai Mahotsav Ground.
Ocean of people had emerged in Saifai for ‘Antim Darshan’ of their beloved Netaji.
Several top leaders including Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Bhaghel, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, NCP leaders Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule and Praful Patel, Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Pramod Tiwari, Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, Industrialist Anil Ambani were present to offer their last respects to Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Uttar Pradesh government has announced three-day state mourning on the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Mulayam Singh passed away on Monday in a private hospital in Gurugram.
