Alvarez and Walker start as Man City fans name line-up they want to see vs Sheffield United

Sheffield United Pep Guardiola FA Cup Manchester City Aymeric Laporte Blades Jack Grealish Julian Alvarez Kalvin Phillips Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City will have the chance to reach the FA Cup final when they take on Championship side Sheffield United in the semi-finals on Saturday.

The Blues, who thrashed Burnley in the last round of the competition, are favourites to progress to the final, but Pep Guardiola and his players will not be underestimating Paul Heckingbottom's men. City remain on course to win a treble this season, with the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League all still on the cards.

Guardiola's side - who last lifted the FA Cup in 2019 - will be without defender Nathan Ake for the clash against the Blades. The Dutch defender suffered a hamstring injury in the Champions League quarter-final tie with Bayern Munich earlier this week. It remains unclear how long the player will be sidelined for.
