Altiva Equity Long Short Fund to launch on September 10; Radhika Gupta explains its large-cap alpha strategy

After launching arbitrage and mid-cap-based strategies under its Specialised Investment Fund (SIF), Edelweiss Mutual Fund’s Altiva SIF is set to launch its third strategy, focused on large-cap equities, on September 10.

The new large-cap-focused strategy will combine large-cap equity exposure with an income-oriented derivatives overlay. Radhika Gupta, MD & CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, said the strategy aims to deliver a more consistent source of alpha for investors’ core portfolios.
