I've loved my O'Neal off-road boots for well over 5 years now. And they've treated me well, suffering deep rivers, muddy pits, countless miles of fast rocky sweepers, and everything else I could throw at them. Hell, I even once dropped a Harley-Davidson Pan America onto them whilst my foot and ankle were still within their confines.
I'm happy to report that my tootsies were A-OK.
But lately, they've been looking a bit haggard. They've seen better days. And unlike my favorite hunting/side-by-side boots from Meindl, they can't just be sent back to the factory for some reconditioning. I have to replace them, though it's been tough to pull the trigger on anything, since how do you replace what amounts to an old friend? Then I saw Alpinestars' new Tech 7 Enduro Drystars, the brand's latest off-road boot offering, and I started questioning my loyalty.
