Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies has urged Liverpool to 'give the guy his money' with regards to Mohamed Salah's ongoing contract negotiations.

The Egyptian is yet to agree terms on a new deal at Anfield and his current contract expires in the summer of 2023.

Salah's agent Ramy Abbas Issa added fuel to the fire on Friday by posting laughing emojis on Twitter shortly after Jurgen Klopp declared a decision over an extension is down to the Egyptian.

Bayern defender Davies stumbled across an article suggesting talks had stalled during a livestream with his fans, prompting the Canadian international to provide his reaction to the current situation.

Riyad Mahrez makes Liverpool title claim in Premier League race

Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez says Liverpool losing between now and the end of the Premier League season would represent 'a big week' for Pep Guardiola's side.

The Reds currently sit three points behind City in the table ahead of the Manchester club's meeting with Crystal Palace on Monday night football.

Liverpool and City are set to meet at the Etihad on April 10 in a clash that could be a title decider if they remain within touching distance of each other.
