Rangers legend Ally McCoist tore into the match officials for disallowing an Alfredo Morelos's goal as Celtic won 3-2 in the Old Firm derby.
Morelos had found the net for Rangers only for the goal to be ruled out for an apparent foul on Celtic's Kevin Clancy. VAR agreed, and the goal was chalked off.
McCoist was left fuming at the decision and slammed the match official Kevin Clancy and VAR official Nick Walsh for what he deemed was an 'embarrassing' decision.
"It is never a free kick, I will clear it up for you right now, it is never a free kick," said an incredulous McCoist on co-commentary.
"Honest to goodness, it is absolutely embarrassing the way we are running VAR, absolutely embarrassing. We are a laughing stock but anyway, game on.
"The both of them are holding each other and Morelos gives him a little nudge. Nick, what you seeing son, come up here and tell us what you are seeing.
"It is remarkable. Just as well I didn't ask you what they were saying in VAR there, Andy. I think this is one of the problems we have with VAR, if Kevin Clancy has made a decision we can say ok, we think he's got it wrong. But VAR going and checking the decision makes the officials look totally incompetent."
