Alleged crime kingpin Tony Haddad caught in Türkiye, deported to Australia

A Sydney fugitive who was on the run from authorities for more than two years has been caught in Türkiye and deported back to Australia.

Tony Haddad, 46, went into hiding while on trial for his role in allegedly importing safrole oil, a banned substance that could produce more than two million MDMA tablets.
