Allan McGregor loses it with Rangers protesters as he brands them 'f****** a********' after THIRD stoppage

Fed-up Rangers keeper Allan McGregor appeared to turn the air blue in the direction of his own supporters after a THIRD protest during their clash with Dundee.

Away fans launched a toilet roll and tennis ball at kick-off and after 10 minutes but it was their decision to launch a fresh protest after the restart that set off the club icon.

McGregor could be heard calling the fans "f****** a*******", as Sky Sports cameras picked up on the 40-year-old's frustrations.

The Rangers hero's strife was was compounded by the fact his side were in search of a vital result in the City of Discovery.

Followers of the Ibrox side were letting their feelings known over the controversial Sydney Super Cup that is set to take place in November.

The Light Blues are set to take on their great rivals Celtic but supporter anger was bubbling under before today's vocal condemnation.

But Record Sport understands the Ibrox side are willing to exit the tournament and are willing to pay a penalty levy to exit the competition.

Managing director Stewart Robertson was inside Dens Park to hear supporters tell him "stick your friendly up your a***" for much of the afternoon.
