Millions of Brits can now book a fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
The government confirmed people aged 75 and over and those who are immunosuppressed over the age of 12 are now eligible for their second booster from this week - as Mirror Online reports. The move comes as Covid-19 cases continues to surge across the country. According to the latest data from Public Health England, the Liverpool City Region has seen positive tests increase by three quarters.
Boris Johnson addressed the vaccine rollout at the Conservative Party's Spring conference and hinted it'll be extended to more people later this year. He said: "I hope you've all had your boosters. We're getting ready for a fourth jab, because we're going to need it."
