European kits have always been popular among football fans. Whether you own a retro Real Madrid shirt from the Galactico’s era, or a new PSG top with Messi on the back.
Thankfully it’s once again that time of the year when football's elite team's kits slowly appear online. Ahead of the new season Footy Headlines has released some of Europe’s top club’s home shirts.
With kits from Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich there are some stellar efforts that will surely fly off the shelves. But which ones stand out more than others?
Juventus
Adidas have proven that you can’t go too far wrong with black and white stripes with their latest Juventus kit. Featuring small black triangles which make up the stripes the kit does feature a pop of colour with Jeep’s logo including electricity detailing.
Atletico Madrid
Nike on the other hand have proved that you can however go wrong with red and white stripes with Atletico’s new home shirt. The trippy new design features wavey stripes in what is sure to dazzle opponents in La Liga next season.
Barcelona
Barcelona have gone a little left-field with next season’s home kit. The Nike shirt still features the navy, royal blue and red colours that are synonymous with the club but the bold stripes are sure to divide fans.
With solid navy sleeves Nike have made another striking shirt which fans will be hoping can bring the club some good fortune.
PSG
An unfortunately tame effort from Nike as PSG’s new home kit is far from exciting. An improvement on this season’s plain kit, the new top is set to be in the traditional blue with a large white centre stripe with red lining.
Bayern Munich
Adidas have ever so slightly pushed the boat out for Bayern’s new kit for the 2022/23 season. The German giants will wear an all-red kit with thing horizontal white lines and a white collar. But will we see Lewandowski in the shirt come next season?
Real Madrid
There isn’t much you can do to spice up Real Madrid’s all white kits, but Adidas have made a much needed improvement for next season. Featuring a collar with black and purple detailing the new shirt has a hint of nostalgia and also includes subtle Real Madrid crests embossed across the shirt.
Next season promises to be a hit and miss year for kits for Europe's top teams. You can shop each team's current kits via both the Adidas and Nike online stores.
