
Just days after Storm Éowyn battered parts of the UK and Ireland with record gusts of up to 114mph, a new storm is causing more travel disruption, flooding and, according to the Met Office, “danger to life” in parts of the country.
Storm Herminia – which was named by Spanish authorities – saw gusts of more than 62mph in northern parts of Spain before it moved to the UK on Monday (January 27).
