A number of closures and roadworks are set to take place along the M4 over the coming week. There will be planned works taking place along the road both in Wales and England, Traffic Wales and National Highways have confirmed.
Motorists are being warned the work could mean delays for those travelling early in the morning or late at night. The work includes both full and partial closures as well as lane reductions.

M4 closures and roadworks in Wales:
The M4 westbound at Junction 45: Clearance work is being carried out at Junction 45 Ynysforgan, meaning the entry slip road will be closed between 8pm on Sunday, November 6 and 6am on Tuesday, November 8.
The M4 westbound between junctions 22 and 23: Ongoing roadworks will cause severe disruption. Having started at 9am on Thursday, July 14, they are scheduled to be completed on Friday, November 18 at 6am.
M4 closures and roadworks in England:
The M4 westbound between junctions 21 and 22: Roadworks are planned between Monday, October 31 at 9am and Tuesday, November 8 at 4pm, causing slight disruption
The M4 westbound between junctions 19 and 20: Roadworks are planned between Monday, November 7 at 10pm and Friday, November 11 at 6am, causing slight disruption.
The M4 westbound between junctions 18 and 19: Roadworks are planned between Thursday, November 10 at 10pm and Friday, November 11, at 6am, causing slight disruption.
The M4 eastbound between junctions 3 and 1: Carriageway closed between Sunday, November 6, at 10.30pm and Monday, November 7 at 5.30am for structural works, with a diversion in place.
The M4 eastbound at junction 3: Entry slip road closed between Sunday, November 6, at 10.30pm and Monday, November 7, at 5.30am for structural works, with a diversion in place.
The M4 eastbound at junction 2: Entry slip road closed between Sunday, November 6, at 10.30pm and Monday, November 7 at 5.30am for structural works, with a diversion in place.
