The British Soap Awards will be back on our screens this weekend for the first time in two years.
Over the last two years, the awards do has been cancelled due to the c ovid pandemic. But now, the ceremony is back and celebs will return to the red carpet. Phillip Schofield will be hosting the show again as actors and actresses from Coronation Street, Emmerdale, EastEnders, Casualty, Holby City, Hollyoaks and Doctors join together for the celebration.
Stars are expecting to take home trophies for a number of categories including best soap, villain of the year and best storyline. As always, many of the award winners are chosen by an expert panel, but there are three awards which the public can vote for - B est British Soap, Best Leading Performer and Best Family.

As the night gears up to kick off, the soap stars are starting to fill the red carpet. Some look completely different to their TV alter-egos as they shine and sparkle in glamourous outfits.
