Nothing gets people more in the festive spirit than watching their favourite Christmas films, but which streaming services are they available on?
With many of us having subscriptions to one or more major streaming service, it's tough to know which one to pick when you're in the mood for one of your festive favourites. A lot of old-school classics, like the first three Home Alone films, have recently been acquired by Disney+.
Netflix is of course home to the more recent Netflix original Christmas films, including the Princess Switch films starring Vanessa Hudgens, and a new release this year Falling for Christmas with Lindsay Lohan. Christmas classics like Love, Actually, It's a Wonderful Life, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas are all available with an Amazon Prime account.

Of the top 10 Christmas films (according to IMDB), one (Klaus) is available on Netflix, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, and Love, Actually are all available on Amazon Prime. Elf, The Polar Express, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are all on Now TV, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and Home Alone (ranked number one) are all on Disney+.
In terms of Christmas rom coms, Last Christmas, The Holiday, and Too Close for Christmas are all available on Now TV, as is the 90s classic Love, Actually (although that's also on Amazon Prime). Now TV also have all eight Harry Potter films which, although not technically Christmas films, are a family favourite for this time of year.
A Die Hard, another Christmas film that is not a Christmas film, is available on Disney+. The original Miracle on 34th Street (1947) and the newer film made in 1994 are both also available on Disney+, both of which were ranked in the top 40 Christmas films according to IMDB.
