Hundreds of people attended two rival immigration protests held in Dublin city centre on Monday afternoon.
One pro-refugee protest was held near the GPO on O'Connell Street, before the group marched to the Garden of Remembrance while chanting: “Far right, hear us clear, refugees are welcome here.”
At almost the same time, an anti-immigration protest took place in the city, with thousands of people marching on the offices of a number of media outlets.
