All PvP activities in The Division Resurgence
The regular open world in The Division Resurgence doesn’t have PvP. You can team up with random people to complete world events or say hi as you head towards the next mission. If you want a PvP experience, you can play Dark Zone or Conflict through the Activity Playlist menu.
Dark Zone
Dark Zone is The Division‘s iconic PvEvP extraction mode. You load into a dedicated area with multiple POIs and events to complete, and earn loot that you need to extract. Every run lasts 20 minutes and has up to 20 players.
By default, PvP isn’t enabled, but you can go Rogue to enable PvP and hunt other players. Even though it’s an extraction mode, if you die in the Dark Zone, you can respawn to try and get back your loot or finish clearing out the event before the run ends.
Conflict
Conflict is a dedicated 4v4 PvP mode, where you fight over objectives and kill enemies. Conflict Domination is similar to traditional Domination from games like Call of Duty, where you capture zones to score points. As you complete matches, you earn Conflict XP to increase the dedicated Conflict Level and earn rewards.
For every match, there’s also a chance for you to get gear and upgrade materials. However, Conflict heavily depends on gear quality and progression. If you just started playing The Division Resurgence, you won’t deal much damage to enemies, but you can still complete a few games for Commendation Points.
