Want to find the Cameron to your Lauren? Love Is Blind casting is officially underway, so now is the time to manifest that dream into a reality. Grab your silver wine glass and cheers to that!
If the premise of the Netflix series doesn't deter you, and if you're keen on building a connection with the one before actually seeing the one, why not throw caution to the wind? You can have luck à la Brett and Tiffany, Love Is Blind season 4 fan-favorites, or you can at least learn what it is you're looking for in a relationship. (Let's go with the glass-half-full approach, shall we?)
We'll tell you how to make your way into the pods if the matchmaking show has become your go-to TV binge—and if you feel as though you're an appropriate candidate. But be warned: if there's anything we learned over the past four seasons of the show, Love Is Blind is certainly not for the faint of heart. (Damian and Giannina can tell you that.)
"The whole premise of the show is authenticity," host Nick Lachey told People. "It’s getting to know someone from their true, real self and then introducing the physical.[It's] probably the most authentic dating show we’ve ever seen that ends at the altar, in my opinion."
Authentic, but worth it? You'll have to be the judge.
'Love Is Blind' casting: everything you need to know
Where does 'Love Is Blind' casting take place?
According to a post from Kinetic Content Casting, Love Is Blind is currently on the hunt for hopeful romantics in three cities: Washington, D.C., St. Paul, Minnesota, and Denver, Colorado. The ad calls for all "single men and women who are brave, open-minded, and ready for a committed relationship." Does that fit your description?
How to apply to be on 'Love Is Blind':
To get the ball rolling, head over to loveisblind.castingcrane.com, but be prepared to be on the site for a while: there are 70+ questions to answer. From the basics such as contact information to more unorthodox questions—"Why do you need Love Is Blind in your life now?" and "What is something you would be hesitant to share in the pods?"—you'll definitely have to do some thinking.
You'll also want to prepare to be creative: you'll be asked to upload a 15-second-long video describing why you're a perfect fit for the series. Think of it as your introduction to reality TV—you're definitely going to be filming confessionals at some point if you get the green light!
Although we're not sure about specifics for future seasons—we're only halfway through Love Is Blind season 4, after all, and season 5 has already been filmed—we can be sure to expect more romantic antics along the way and, hopefully for contestants' sakes, nothing from a new season of Irinas and Micahs.
Good luck to those who send in an application! Even if you prefer to sit back and watch others take the plunge, that's totally fine, too!
